I found this online article today, and altho it's a few years old it dovetails nicely with my shoutbox post a day ago. www.smithsonianmag.com/science-nature/people-get-seasonal-depression-summer-too-180955673/The article did some testing with mice, and found indications that the season they were born affected their brain activity throughout their lives. Now in my shoutbox post I wondered about possible comorbidity of Summer SAd with OCD. Now I'm wondering...what months were you born in? I was born in February, and in upstate NY that is in the middle of winter. I also have Summer SAD. Is there a correlation amongst the members of our little forum? Please consider answering my question(s) and perhaps together we can collectively understand this annoying malady we've all been "blessed" with.

End of October in Illinois, during a snow storm. But husband was born in February in Illinois and loves summer. Go figure.
