Glad you found us. Saskia is busy with her new little one, and asked for an assist with administration on this board. So bear with this rookie admin as I learn the ropes and try to get some dialogue going.

Just saw the poll,I vote for HEAT being the worst! It was 100 degrees here again today!! We are breaking all kinds of records for heat none of them good! Then heard one of the weathermen saying an el nino was forming and it could be a warm winter again. How depressing!!

Hey everyone. I was a member of the other SSAD site but was pretty inactive last year. In response to the poll I would have to say heat first, followed by extended light and then noise. I am glad you included motorcycles as part of the noise.....I live at the corner of a street that seems to attract motorbikes like no other.

Voted for heat, but light intensity is a big bad one too!

Hey Jackiet motorcycles are really annoying I agree! I have one neighbor who starts his up at 6:30am and lets it run out there for at least 5 minutes, hey it's warm out you don't need to let the engine warm up!!! Then he rev's it up when he leaves! Can't wait for cold weather and he stops riding it.

I think my final answer on this would have to be a tie between heat/intensity of the sun. I really, really hate sunlight, although now as the angle of the sun is finally beginning to noticeably change for the better (Fall is almost here!!!! YAY!), I would have to say my hatred of the sun in winter is nothing close to the loathing I have for it in the Summer.
Heat edges out the intensity by a hair, though
